About the role
As an Oyster World Rally Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of the Oyster World Rally, helping to create a seamless, enjoyable and memorable experience for participants, owners and crew. Based at one of our UK sites in Southampton, Wroxham or Ipswich, this is a varied and exciting role that combines event coordination, customer service, destination planning and international travel. You will work closely with the Oyster World Rally Manager and wider Events team, while liaising with marinas, yacht clubs, local authorities, suppliers, agents and participants around the world. The role involves overseas travel, including the possibility of spending up to three months at a time supporting the Rally at international destinations.
What they're looking for
Previous experience in event management is essential. Exceptional customer service skills with experience working directly with clients. Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to travel overseas for up to 3 months at a time. Sailing or yacht industry knowledge is highly desirable.
