Mass Participation Assistant (Engagement)

Join Dementia UK as our Mass Participation Assistant (Engagement), an exciting role which plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of the charity’s mass participation fundraising programme.

You will be the first point of contact for supporter fundraising enquiries, provide administrative support across the Virtual Events and Owned Products teams, and help maintain efficient systems and processes that underpin the success of our campaigns. You will engage with supporters every day through phone, email, SMS and our online communities. You’ll create engaging social content, support volunteer Facebook Group Champions and contribute to improving the supporter journey, including developing resources and testing new ideas. You’ll also gain exposure to different events and fundraising products across the team.

You will be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering excellent supporter or customer experiences. You’ll be comfortable learning new processes, managing different priorities and working collaboratively across a busy team. Experience in customer service, administration, fundraising or online communities would be valuable, alongside enthusiasm for developing your skills and bringing new ideas to the role.
