About the role
Lead, develop, and mentor a global team of event professionals. Define and execute Chainlink's global event strategy. Own the planning and delivery of SmartCon and Chainlink's presence at major industry conferences. Deliver executive experiences through customer events, product launches, networking receptions, thought leadership forums, and strategic announcements. Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Executive Leadership, Finance, Legal, and Procurement on event planning and execution. Manage annual event budgets, vendor relationships, and commercial negotiations. Establish scalable event planning processes, governance, and operational standards globally. Measure event success through KPIs, attendee engagement, pipeline influence, and executive feedback. Ensure events meet brand quality, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance standards.
What they're looking for
8+ years of experience leading large-scale events. At least 3 years managing and developing high-performing event teams. Proven experience delivering flagship conferences, executive events, product launches, and sponsored industry events. Experience in technology, fintech, financial services, or startup environments. Ability to develop and execute strategic event programmes that drive measurable business outcomes.
