Global Head of Events

OpenAI is looking for a Global Head of Events to lead a large, established global events and production team. Working with OpenAI's executive team, you'll set the direction for our event portfolio, focus investment on key experiences, and build flagship gatherings, product launches, developer gatherings, and executive programs. Your remit spans flagship conferences, product launches, town halls, webinars, and film projects. The role uses a hybrid work model (3 days in office/week) in San Francisco with relocation assistance provided.

14+ years of experience in global events, experiential marketing, and large-scale production, including leadership of teams, budgets, and programs across multiple markets. Track record of creating distinctive flagship experiences. Strong creative judgment, experience developing leaders, and leading complex live/recorded productions. Entrepreneurial approach and curiosity about AI.
