Events Lead, UK & International

Substack is looking for an Events Lead, UK & International to create and execute a year-round programme of events in the UK in service of creators and oversee the delivery of a growing calendar of events internationally. You will devise strategy, planning, and execution of Substack's brand events portfolio from flagship brand moments in London to intimate creator gatherings in Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Communications & Brand and based in London, you will work at the intersection of culture, technology, and media. Key duties include managing the full event lifecycle, budget management, leading freelancers, scaling event frameworks globally, and working cross-functionally across internal teams and partner agencies.

8+ years in experiential event marketing and production; track record scaling event strategies; strategic vision combined with operational execution; deep network of premier creative and production agencies; familiar with Substack as a creator/subscriber; ability to travel globally as needed.
