Project Director, Cultural Festival

Urgent hiring for a Project Director to lead the delivery of a major cultural festival in Abu Dhabi from planning right through to close-out. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end delivery (pre-production, build, live operations, de-rig, close-out), owning the master plan, schedule, budget, and project controls, leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing vendors across all operational areas, and acting as the senior point of contact for clients, government entities, and stakeholders. Office-based 5 days a week in Abu Dhabi through mid-December 2026.

10+ years delivering large-scale festivals or major public events. Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior PM on large festivals. Strong commercial, budget, and contractor management skills. Experience with government clients and VIP stakeholders. Fluent English (Arabic is a huge plus). Must be based in Abu Dhabi or able to manage own accommodation/logistics.
