Events Program Lead – Special Events, Virtual Programs

Design and produce small, high-stakes convenings for people shaping effective altruism. Identify where new special events would add value and propose them. Set convening goals, attendee lists, selection criteria, content, sessions, and facilitation. Serve as the main contact for attendees and partner organizations. Secure participation from people with limited availability and navigate sensitive interpersonal and organizational dynamics. Own event logistics end to end, including venues, vendors, travel, accommodation, catering, AV, budgets, and onsite run-of-show. Establish follow-up processes to capture event outcomes. Contribute to funding proposals and impact reporting.
