About the role
The Events & Community Engagement Manager steers monthly member events, neighborhood initiatives in West and South Louisville, and five major public-facing events each year. Responsibilities include planning member meetups, workshops, happy hours, and panel chats; managing major public events like the Louisville Local Business Expo, Buy Local Fair, and Small Business Saturday events; coordinating volunteers; collaborating on marketing and communications; and managing event budgets, contracts, and attendance in Wild Apricot software.
What they're looking for
1-2 Years minimum experience; H.S. Diploma/Equivalent; experience planning events big or small; passion for local businesses and community energy; strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; availability for occasional evening or weekend events.
